East/ South East winds and very tea stained water with limited success today.
I shared the stream today with Bill and he got a few fish.
I pondered if the tannin stain affects the taste and smell of the fish as we went on our route.
I also had a wonderful snag and hadto re-shot and put a new float on the line just as some competition was walking our way.
I told Bill to continue with out me and hit the good spots and I would catch up once the re-shotting process was completed.
Downtime sucks...
ReplyDeleteNothing worse than having to retie during the bite while looking over your shoulder..
I like the part when you miss a hook set and spend the next 5 mins trying to get your line out of the tree behind you.
Maybe golf isn't such a bad sport after all.
